Tourism Environmental Carrying Capacity And Its Regulation

The development of society, economy and culture takes great changes to the residents' consuming ideas. Tour, as a high level and a new pattern of consumptive fashion, is being accepted by more and more Chinese people. The giant tourist market, combined with the seasonal feature of tourism activity, makes a lot of scenic areas bear overload pressure. It brings much negative influence to continuous development for tourism, such as destruction of ecological environment, damage of facilities and old buildings, accidents happening frequently etc. tourism is not been believed as a "No Smoke Industry". Nanjing Zhongshan scenic area is also facing overload pressure to a certain extent when busy season comes. In this article author does some research on current situation of tourism environment bearing capacity of Nanjing Zhongshan scenic area and inquire into how to regulate the tourism environment bearing capacity .Firstly, this article probes into the concept and connotation, at last, author believes the concept of Tourism Environmental Bearing Capacity is more reasonable. After analyzing the tourism environmental bearing capacity, author thinks that the two main component parts of tourism environmental bearing capacity of Nanjing Zhongshan scenic area are tourism resource's space bearing capacity and tourists' psychological bearing capacity. Within the economic analysis of tourism environmental bearing capacity, author realizes the necessity to establish regulation system for tourism environmental bearing capacity of Zhongshan scenic area..Secondly, under the questionnaire survey and study, author calculates the reasonable tourism resource's space environmental bearing capacity and tourists' psychological bearing capacity of three main scenic spots, and finds that these three main scenic spots were facing overload problems in busy seasons. At the same time, author does some analysis on tourists' traveling experience and satisfaction level.Thirdly, this article analyzes the present situation of tourism environment and the influential factors for tourism environmental bearing capacity of Nanjing Zhongshan scenic area. The author puts forward that the most important factors affecting tourism environmental bearing capacity of Nanjing Zhongshan scenic area are tourists' group characteristics and traveling behavior mechanism. Under the above researches, author does some study on tourists' moving patterns and put forward that tourists' moving behavior appears gathering within little scale and one-way direction.Finally, combined with tourists' group characteristics, traveling behavior mechanism and space moving patterns , this article put forward some suggestions and resolving methods to regulate tourism environmental bearing capacity of Zhongshan scenic area, including guiding tourists' need change, improving scenic area's supply capacity and innovating mange ideas.
