Since the eighties of the last century, the urbanization of our country develops very quickly. There is a large number of surplus labor force in the country. Due to the impact of gender stereotypes, the flow of men is quicker than the flow of women. So the burden only falls on the wives. They do the work in agricultural production and do the housework. Their living condition is poor. Their security is not properly protected. They are the vulnerable groups of society. From a sociological sense, everyone lives in their own social networks. And they get to resources from the network. The weak position of women in decision to stay in her social support network is imperfect. It is bound to affect them a better develop. Therefore, studies of women's social support network for stay have great significance. This paper from the perspective of social network research stay of women's social support network. And found that their network problems and influencing factors, and propose appropriate countermeasures.This paper is divided into three parts:The first part is a literature review and theoretical basis. Combing literature review on the rear of women and social support networks research; the theoretical basis is social network theory and social support theory. It expounded the social network theory, social network analysis methods and the composition of social support networks. It provides a unique perspective for the thesis.The second part is about Hometown-Remaining Wife's social support network for empirical research. This paper used of social support in four indicators. They are named:network size, the relationship between composition, convergence and heterogeneity. Study concluded that the existing social support networks for Hometown-Remaining Wives were serious problems. The study concluded, 1. Social support network size is small.2. They often get the support from their friends and family.3. There are no the government support. There are many material support, the lack of emotion support and interaction support.4. The convergence is high and heterogeneous is low. This shows that Hometown-Remaining Wives's social support network is imperfect. In this part also analyzes the factors that affect social support network, including individual factors and social factors.The third section presents a perfect Hometown-Remaining Wives's social support network proposal. According to social support theory the support for weak should be many faceted. Social capital theory suggests that, for an individual, the strength of weak ties can bring more conducive to their development of individual interests and resources than strong ties. So there should be build a social support networks of Hometown-Remaining Wives. Improve the existing informal support. Learn from each other. Strengthen the formal organization and the government policy. The organization of women and village should pay more attention of the Hometown-Remaining Wives. Improve the status of Hometown-Remaining Wives and improve their quality of life. Promote the development of family harmony and society harmonious.
