Advertisement is one of the important parts of our life today and advertisement language plays a very key role among them. By observation and analysis, we find that most of the classic advertisement languages have been refined. Based on a discussion on the rhetoric of the classic advertisement languages as well as the contexts that has a close relation with the rhetoric of the advertisement languages, This thesis will be attached on the following four aspects to see how they affect the rhetoric of the advertisement language in terms of the society, time, region and the public.Based on a large collection of advertisement language data, this thesis will start from the contexts, while guided by the language rhetoric viewpoint in a broad sense and using linguistics, sociology and psychology, and then tries to uncover the relationship between advertisement language rhetoric and contexts, as well as the reasons that some special contexts affect the language rhetoric. With the purpose of furthering understanding of advertisement language rhetoric, the paper will also have a discussion on the classic rhetoric and hopes to offer helps for the language expression and acceptance.
