Jin And A Brief Account Of The Literary Documents

Former rearch in Wei and Jin period 's historical data of literature paid less attentions to it's original state, especially in the study that how the contemporary people arranged contemporary people's historical data of literature. So, this paper try describing the emerging and exsiting state of the literary historical data including authors, works and criticism standing on the others' study result. There are four chapters in this paper.In the first chapter, we mainly discuss the state of authors' biography. Firstly, authors' biography appeared abundantly and the authors' social status was improved. This transformation drew people's attentions generously, which spurred the appearance of authors' biography. Secondly, at that time, the authors' deeds were included not only in historical books and records but also in some other sorts of books including the biography of historical records , miscellaneous biography , separate biography> family biography and many literature catalogues.The second chapter mainly discusses one of important conservation styles of literary works: Individual Collections. Literature had been independent and obtained people's much attentions at that time, then more and more people came into realize literature's importance and the differences between JingXue , history works and ZhuZis' works through their much practice. So, they began to arrange literary works to form Individual Collections for themselves or for others. This chapter describes the reasons of Individual Collection's development and prosperity in three periods: before Jian 'an ,Jin 'an and two Jins. We also study the way of Individual Collections' compilation including it's name> it's catalogue and it's content thoroughly.The third chapter mainly studies another important conservation styles of literature works: Group Collections. The amount of literature works and Individual Collections became very big which made it necessary to compile Group Collections. We introduce the Group Collections' origination and it's two types: Gathered Group Collections and Selected Group Collections. And according to the classification ,we study every Group Collections' original compilation in detail. We also have a tentative description about the novel materials.The fourth chapter is mainly about criticism historical data. The improvement of authors' and literary works' status made people's critical center changed from Jingxue to the literary authors and their works. Meanwhile, during authors' literatual practice ,they get more and more understandings of literature. Therefore, literature critical materials come into being. It's main conservation styles was included in special critical argumentation, all kinds of works, abundant letters between authors, the prefaces and some works about criticisms written by contemporary people .
