Chinese Novel. "cultural Revolution", The Revolutionary Memory (1919-1949)

This thesis's goal is to inquire the reason why revolutionary memory of novels appears and develops again in the period after the GCR, as well as to master the crux of the times, society, literature and culture.through the analysis and explanation to the literary phenomenon.The whole article is divided into three chapters except the preface and conclusion.The first chapter: Literary imagination about revolution in the period after GCR. It's mainly to inquire into the basis of different social psychology, the tactics of expression, the changes of focusing and the intention of imagination, which are in combination to produce this literary phenomenon. The goal of the research is integrated to provide a macroscopic explanation of the cultural attitude, the inner trend of literature and historical origin.The second chapter: Spirit prototype of revolutionary memory. It's mainly to comment on two kinds of spirit prototype: typical character prototypes ( concrete ones and abstract ones) and symbol prototypes (language, act, material and artistic conception)through analyzing the texts .In a sense, to the point of literary typical phenomenon, it provides a concrete examples for the old practices, psychological procrastination, spirit and so on in the period of China's modernization development in the 20th century.The third chapter: thematic discourse and narrative patterns. The thematic discourse and narrative patterns of revolutionary memory change with a shift of cultural condition and political intention. This chapter studies and compares the following three kinds of thematic discourse and narrative patterns: "fable of the state memory" "trauma spirit memory" and "individual intuition memory" .Its goal is to reveal people's different cognition and attitudes ,under the interaction between history condition and present situation, to revolution that is the motivation and sources for the development of modernization , which is reflected in literature. It also points that revolution, as a kind of spirit source, has significant present status and its fate in the 20th century so as to raise the valuable existing in the new century.
