Virginia Woolf and Doris Lessing are two brilliant stars in British Literature, as female writers, their delicate and special writing style, and the thoughtful ideas as well, creating a new horizon in literature sector, which are totally different from the males' opinion. The Androgyny thought in their works has become a criterion since Woolf introduced it into literature, and it attracted scholars' attention. People found that the Androgyny is not only a creative mind in writer, also an attitude when people facing the indifferent life. Lessing was influenced by Woolf's thought; she also has the deep thought in the Androgyny. With the reality she has realized that Woolf's Androgyny was hardly being seen in people's daily life. So she developed further, through her articles, she conveyed that people have to be strict to oneself and persist, upholding one's ideal, then one can be harmonious among people. Be tolerant and be compromise, the real Androgyny could be achieved.This paper is focus on the Androgyny phenomena in Woolf and Lessing's works. Through analogy the Androgyny reflection, aimed to illustrate the reality meaning in the real world, and to arouse people's self-examination about the spiritual condition. The article is divided into three parts:introduction, main body and conclusion.In the introduction part there will be a brief introduction on Woolf and Lessing's literature achievements and the Androgyny thought, the research in China as well. And on the basis, give the problem and solution, the research methods. Then point out the innovation of this article.The main body is divided into three chapters. In the first Chapter there will be a illustration on the Androgyny theory, Woolf and Lessing's Androgyny thoughts. It will search back to the origin and expand the changes in all sectors. Based on the comments, interview and autobiography, the author will explain the Androgyny consensus and development of the two writers. Two of them are not general feminism; they just show the spiritual care about Androgyny.Chapter Two will be focus on the forming of the two writers'Androgyny.
