Needs Analysis, Non-drug Treatment In The Community Health Service In Beijing

With the development of Western medicine,many defects are increasingly evident,particularly iatrogenic,drug-induced diseases. The medical effects of drugs on the human body has become a very serious problem.In our country, adverse drug reactions seriously endanger the citiens'health and life.Non-drug therapy can reduce the impact of drug treatment of diseases,reduce the trauma of surgery on the human body.As hypertension,diabetes,geriatrics,chronic disease became the main disease spectrum of society,non-drug therapy is acceptabled to the residents because of its simplicity, cheap and efficiency.Non-drug therapy is belived "green" and"return to nature".Community Health Service (CHS) is an important act for the health care refor.Non-drug therapy in community is a good approach for current medical needs to our residents.Currently,the researches related non-drug therapy are mostly limited to the clinical treatments for certain diseases,the practical investigation report is insufficient, particularly,the research from patients'demand and CHS organization provide is a blank area. So,it is necessary to find solutions and strategies to solve these problems,and promote a healthy development of non-drug therapy service.Based on literature review, this study worked in the prospective of demand side (patients who need and use non-drug therapy) and supply side (CHS organization who provide non-drug therapy service),collected the data of patients in some CHS organizations in beijing, and did the work on the awareness and utilization of non-drug therapy,and got the realities of non-drug therapy service in beijing, and summarized the key factors that impeded the non-drug therapy service development.Finally, scientific strategies were adopted to put forward to the development of non-drug therapy service.Object and Content:Use the quota stratified random sampling method, this study surveyed 350 patients in 6 CHS organizations and wokers of eight CHS organizations in beijing.The content of the questionnaire includes the doctor and patients'behavior and influencing factors,the knowledge and utilization of non-drug therapy;evaluation of non-drug therapy service in CHS; supply of non-drug therapy service in CHS organization.Methods:The qualitative methods were applied to carry out supplementary surveys.SWOT analysis were employed to analyze the data.Main Research Findings1.The traditional Chinese medicine were already widely used in CHS.2.The government policy is imperfect,non-drug therapy in CHS doesn't paid enough attention.3.The professional of non-drug therapy in CHS are seriously lacking is the main constraint.4.CHS planning is imperfect,the publicity is inadequate,and the regional development is unblance.5.There is still a large room to develop non-drug therapy in CHS.Strategies and suggestions:1.Establish policies of non-drug therapy in CHS,and improve the system of CHS service policy.2.Speed up the training of high-quality CHS for community doctors.3.CHS organization is a platform which promote the Chinese medicine to carry out appropriate technology.4.The importance of non-drug therapy should be awared, public health education should be strengthen.5.Speed up the networks of CHS non-drug therapy, which could improve the CHS system,and reduce the imbalance of regional development.6.Establish effective mechanisms of non-drug therapy CHS.
