Objective By studying the technical operations of acupotomy treatment on knee osteoarthritis and collateral ligament injury of knee joint,establish the guidelines for clinical practice of knee osteoarthritis and collateral ligament injury of knee joint with acupotomy to unify the technical terms and improve the clinical curative effect.Methods According to the national standard manipulation guidance and referring to the style of the guideline for clinical practice of management of primary osteoporosis with traditional medicine given by World Health Organization of Western Pacific Region,the procedure and methods of the guidelines for clinical practice of knee osteoarthritis and collateral ligament injury of knee joint with acupotomy were studied through literature review,clinical research,expert consultation and demonstration and so on.Results Work out the guideline for clinical practice of management of knee osteoarthritis with acupotomy and the guideline for clinical practice of management of collateral ligament injury of knee joint with acupotomy.Conclusion According to the national standard manipulation guidance and referring to the style of the guideline for clinical practice of management of primary osteoporosis with traditional medicine given by World Health Organization of Western Pacific Region,tailoring to the manipulation characteristics and application law of acupotomy, appling the methods of document arrangement,clinical research and expert consultation and demonstration to establish the guideline for clinical practice of management of knee osteoarthritis with acupotomy and the guideline for clinical practice of management of collateral ligament injury of knee joint with acupotomy is feasible.
