| Objective :Wormwood Decoction is a traditional formula in treating jaundice in TCM. It has good curative effect on treating acute icteric hepatitis.Methods:Sixty patients with HAV and HBV were observed contrast in this study.The changes of the function of the liver and the symptoms were observed before and after the treatment.Results: the oriental wormwood decoction had more significant improvement than the contrast group on the clinical symptoms of the jaundice (p<0.01), so do the function of the liver.Conclusion: It is a good formula to treat jaundice due to damp-heat accumulation. |
