Objective:The research was to set up an animal model of rabbit based on the Simulation of human traumatic myopia,In the animal model, verify the doctrine about Etiology of the human traumatic myopia proposed by the current domestic and foreign scholars, detect these indicators with relevant instruments and methods, and then to analyze the significance of the various factors. Methods:Before trauma,we Selected 20 rabbit eyes to detect some indicators, such as axial length, corneal thickness, refractive status, anterior chamber depth, lens thickness, etc.and then we hit the rabbit eyes with the same free-falling small ball to set up the idea animal model based on the Simulation of human traumatic myopia. Finally,we re-measured the relevant indicators and analyzed the data before and after trauma to determine the reliability of animal models, and analyzed the significance of the indicators by Statistical method. Results:The refractive change of rabbits before and after the trauma had significant statistical significance(P<0.01),In the first day of the post-traumatic,the chang of some indicators(such as axial length*,corneal thickness**,anterior chamber depth*, and lens thickness**)had significant statistical significance than which in the pre-trauma(**P<0.01,*P<0.05),but in the 7th day of the post-traumatic,only the chang of lens thickness had significant statistical significance(P<0.05).UBM and histopathology showed,Ciliary body compared with the pre-trauma that there are varying degrees of edema in post-traumaticConclusion:The experimental animal models has achieved the basic idea as we expected,in the early post-traumatic,Axial length, corneal thickness, anterior chamber depth, lens thickness and ciliary body's changes have played a role in common to traumatic myopia. However,in the late,Maybe only ciliary body and lens played a decisive role.
