| Objective To observe the clinical features of maternal women complicating cerebrovascular disease and find its risk factors. Methods We collected clinic data of inpatients from 2000 to 2009 in neurology department and maternity department of 1st hospital of Shanxi Medical University.140 maternal women were enrolled and divided into two groups according to whether cerebrovascular disease occurring, respectively 20 in the case group and 120 in the control group.Cerebrovascular diseases were diagnosed according to the diagnostic criteria in the fourth occasion national cerebrovascular disease conference in 1995.We retrospectively analyze the clinical features and record important data such as age,WBC,FIB,prenatal care, delivery method, disorder Complicating Pregnancy,infections,primipara/multipara,pathological pregnancy and so on,in order to find the risk factors.Theses data were analyzed with T-test,x2-check and conditional logistic regression analysis. Results 20 maternal women complicating cerebrovascular disease were diagnosed.,including 16 with CVST,2 with cerebral infarction,2 with cerebral hemorrhage;5 cases in prenatal and 15 cases in postpartum;Clinical manifestation were as follows:headache in 17 cases(85%),vomit in 10 cases(50%),seizures in 11 cases(55%);4 cases(20%) fully recovered;anther 9 cases improved, lcase had no change and 6 cases(30%) died during hospitalization.Logistic regression analysis showed that hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy and infection closely combined to maternal women complicating cerebrovascular disease. Conclusion Maternal women complicating cerebrovascular disease is less common,it can occur in the prenatal and postpartum, but mostly occurs in late pregnancy and puerperium. The major types of cerebrovascular diseases were ischemic stroke, hemorrhagic stroke, intracranial venous system thrombosis, cerebral venous sinus thrombosis was most common in clinical. The presents of intracranial hypertension were cardinal symptoms, neurologic deficits, conscious disturbance and seizures can also present.Hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy and infection were independent risk factors for maternal complicating cerebrovascular disease. |
