| Objective:Chronic rhinosinustis(CRS)and (nasal polyps)NP are commonly encountered disease in rhinology . This project analyze correlative factors by means of investigating the expression difference of p38 MAPK protein in chronic rhinosinusitis,nasal polyps and normal mucosa tissues, studying its influence of immunology cytokine and their role,in order to guide clinical works.Methods: Tissues samples were obtained from 20 patients with chronic rhinosi- nusitis ,20 patients with nasal polyps and 15 patients with normal mucosa tissues .The expression of p38 MAPK was detected by westernblot method in all the Tissues samples; IL-4,IFN-γwas detected by ELISA method in all the Tissues samples. At last, distribution condition of p38 MAPK and correlated cytokine in the disease cases and normal control cases were analyzed by F testing , correlativity between p38 MAPK and IL-4,IFN-γwere analyzed by calculating Pearson coefficient .Results:①In chronic rhinosinusitis and nasal polyps tissues,compared with controls,the expression of p38 MAPK protein was significant increased (P<0.05),but in the two case groups the difference was not significant (P>0.05).②IL-4 and IFN-γwere both significant increased in nasal polyps tissues(P<0.05)③IFN-γwas significant increased in chronic rhinosinusitis tissues (P<0.05),but IL-4 was not very significant compared with controls .④There was both positive correlation between p38 MAPK protein and IL-4 and IFN-γin nasal polyps ,but the former was more significant ; There was only positive correlation between p38 MAPK protein and IFN-γin CRS tissues.Conclusion:①p38 protein may induce T cell to differentiate , Th1 or Th2 cell.②The expression of IL-4,IFN-γare different in CRS and NP .③The inflamm- atory reaction of CRS and NP are not exactly the same. |
