In this paper, we constructed a series of epidemiological models with isolation compartment, which are based on two classical epidemiological models: the Kermack-Mckendrick's SIR model and the SIS modelWe analyzed the effect of islation rate on existence of disease-free equilibrium and endemic equilibrium, and discussed the stability of the equilibria and the convergence to the equilihria. We obtained some threshold theorems about isolation rate, which can be applied to control and eradicate infectious diseases.
