To study the chemical constituents from the hydrolysate of the saponins from Gynostemma pentaphfllum (Thunb)Makino.The the saponin of Gynostemma pentaphfllum was hydrolyzed with acids and isolation and purification were carried out by various chromatographic techniques such as silica gel and so on. Ten compounds were obtained and six compounds were isolated and identified by spectral and chemical methods..Their chemical structures were identified as:20(R)-protopanaxadiol(â… ),20(S)- panaxadiol(â…¡),pseudoginsenoside-F11(â…¢),20(R)-dammarane-3?,12?,20,25-tetrol(â…£),20(R)-dammarane-3β,6α,12β,20,25-pentol(â…¤)xxy-1(â…¥). Compoundâ…¥is a new compound. Compoundâ…¦,â…§,â…¨are being indentified. Compoundsâ… ï½žâ…¤were all isolated from the hydrolysat of Gynostemma pentaphfllum for the first time.Several extraction processes were used respectively,such as the refluxing method,microwave method,supersonic method,twist method and so on,the content of the saponin from Gynostemma pentaphfllum was determined by colorimetric method to optimize the extraction process. The microwave method and smashing tissue eaxtraction(STE) method were used for the first time. The results showed that STE method is the best .The purifing process of BAL is better than n-butanol extraction. |
