Yinhaijingwei(《银海精微》) is one of the earlier ophthalmography,and its academic value is always praised highly by many scholars and doctors.However,the research on its forming time and its academic source is relatively weak.The thesis is at an angle of Yinhaijingwei's structure,analyzing all kinds of theories about its forming time such as Tang Dynasty,Song Dynasty,Ming Dynasty,etc.,and draws an conclusion: It should not come into being in Tang or Song Dynasty,it maybe appeared in the middle of Ming Dynasty.Through comparing its main body with other medical literature,especial compared with Yankelongmulun《眼科龙木论》and Li Gao's theory(东垣学说), the author found out there are many relations on the academic.So the author conforms that the important academic source of Yinhaijingwei should be Yankelongmulun,Li Gao's Theory.In addition,the thesis summarizes the academic achievements of Yinhaijingwei overall,and indicates that the main academic achievements of it are: advocating FiveLun-EightKuo Theory(五轮八廓学说),paying attention to the relationship between Lun and Zang;underlining oculopathy examination and the progress of disease;emphasizing differential diagnosis,inheriting and creating;applying oral medication as well as external treatment,and mainly the former.
