Objective:To observe the clinical effect on treating insomnia by regulating heel vessels(acupuncture) with cognitive behavior therapy.Methods:There are altogether 60 cases through the whole course of study.By using randomized,single-blind and comparative study,these cases were divided into control group,which were treated by cognitive behavior therapy,and treatment group,which were treated by regulating heel vessels with cognitive behavior therapy.The clinical effect and the influence on PSQI and TCM symptom score were studiedResults:1) The total effective rate of treatment group is 93.3%and control group is 76.7%.2) Clinical cure rate of treatment group is 36.7% and control group is 30.0%.3)The treatment group's value of PSQI,and TCM symptom scores is improved obviously and there is significant difference between these two groups(P<0.01).Conclusions:The effect of regulating heel vessels(acupuncture)with cognitive behavior therapy in treating insomnia is better than that of only cognitive behavior therapy.
