| Objective:Based on the amount of FGF,TGF_βand pathologic slices of fibroblasts as the observation indicators,and by means of observing,judging and comparing the healing levels of injured ligaments,this thesis is aimed at unveiling the working mechanism of treating medial collateral ligament (MCL) injuries by electric needling,through using the molecular biology theories and further illustrating the working mechanism of treating channels and sinew injuries by means of acupuncture and moxibustion.Methods:Based on random sampling and comparison,24 Japanese rabbits were divided into the following 4 groups with 6 each:5-day model,10-day model,5-day model with eclectic needling and 10-day model with electric needling.After the models were made,for the 5-day model and 10-day model groups,rabbits were left for natural healing and were consequently killed 5 and 10 days later respectively.While for the 5-day model and 10-day model groups with electric needling,acupoints of Yanglingquan and Ququan were taken for treatment.Target rabbits were killed after 5 days and 10 days of treatment respectively.Right before the killing,blood from the ear veins were taken from the rabbits in order to measure the quantity of FGF and TGF_βand have statistical anylysis.After the killing,the previously-made MCL models were kept immediately to make the pathologic slices of fabrics so that further study and comparison could be made on the healing level of the injured ligaments by means of statistical anaylisis.Results:1.FGF:a distinct difference was found between 5-day model group and 10-day model with electric needling group(P<0.05);a distinct difference was also found between 5-day model with electric needling group and 10-day model with electric needling group(P<0.05).No other differences were indicated.2.TGF_β:a distinct difference was found between 5-day model group and 5-day model with electric needling group,10-day model group, 10-day model with electric needling group.(P<0.05);a big difference was found between 5-day model with electric needling group and 5-day model group,10-day model group,10-day model with electric needling group (P<0.05);furthermore,a distinct difference was also found between 10-day model group and 5-day model group and 5-day model with electric needling group(P<0.05);moreover,a distinct difference was also found between 10-day model with eclectic needling group and 5-day model group and 5-day model with electric needing group.No other differences were indicated.3.Pathologic slices indication of fibroblasts:a very distinct difference was found between 5-day model and 5-day model with electric needling group,10-day model group and 10-day model with electric needling group(P<0.01);a very distinct difference was also found between 5-day model with electric needling group and 5-day model group(P<0.01),and there was a difference as well between 5-day model with electric needling group and 10-day model with electric needling group(P<0.05);there was also a very distinct difference between 10-day model group and 5-day model group(P<0.01),clear difference was found between 10-day model group and 10-day model with electric needling group(P<0.05);a very distinct difference was found between 10-day model with electric needling group and 5-day model group(P<0.01),and a difference was also indicated between 10-day model with electric needling group and 5-day model with electric needling group as well as 10-day model group (P<0.05).And no other differences were found.Conclusions:1.As demonstrated in this experiment:in the same time period,electric needling treatment can obviously help the healing up of injured MCL.2.As suggested in this experiment:an adequate treatment period is required for the injured MCL by electric needling and there will also be an accumulation of effect based on the density of electric needling treatment. |
