Objective To the SD rat model of epilepsy type (generalized tonic-clonic seizure and partial seizure) , we give different dosage of the Traditional Chinese medicine product-epilepsyⅠtreatment rectively. we study the advantage to cure epilepsy and assistance treatment and analysis the therapeutic effect of the Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine combination in epilepsy (EP)through research with the pure Western Medicine treatment, researching the principium in epilepsyⅠ.Methods We choice health adult SD rat 120 .female and male each half, avoirdupois (200±10) g, random divide them into 6 sets : the most dosage of the Chinese traditional medicine, the inferior dosage's, the least dosage's, the Western Medicine set, the model set, the natural set. In addition to the natural set, the others were made become epilepsy model:inject (32 mg/kg) into the rat's abdomen, once a day, inject 28 days continuously, made the model go into action epilepsy. Through EEG explicit the action, inject epilepsyⅠinto Chinese traditional medicine sets, inject Carbamazepine into the model set and inject NS into the natural set. After 28 days, we measure out the number of c-fos and c-jun protein in the rat's brain with. Appraise the epilepsy action with Racine method. Results The number of c-fos and c-jun protein in all rats's brain who sicken epilepsy increased( P<0. 05) ; epilepsyⅠcan reduce the expression of c-fos and c-jun protein of rats's brain ( P<0. 05).Conclusion can relieve or control the action through reduce the expression of c-fos and c-jun protein and it is the good Traditional Chinese medicine in epilepsy .
