206 Cases Of Chronic Kidney Disease Patients In Beijing Chinese Physical Characteristics Of The Study

Body Constitution Classification(BCC) of Chronic Renal Failure(CKD) in 206 Cases of Beijing urban areaObjective To investigate the body constitution classification of Chinese traditional medicine(CKD) in patients with chronic renal failure.Methods The structured questionnaire of constitution was used to investigate the relationship between body constitution types and gender,age,weight,blood pressure(BP),heart rate(HR),body mass index(BMI),andto investigate the relationship between different body constitution types and the viewpoint of physiology and biochemistry,further the relationship between body constitution and basic diseases,course of diseases,and so on.Results Qixu,yangxu,yuxue constitution type were the most common types in CKD patients,then the percent were 34,5%,21.3%和17.5%.qixu,yangyu,yuxue constituion were the common constitution types in men and women,but the percent of qixu constitution(＞30%) was more in female than male.qixu type(＞30%) was the common constitution type in patients between 4 0-50years old,qixu and yuxue types(＞20%) in patients between 50-60 years old,and qixu,yangxu,yuxue types(＞20%) in patients between 60-70 years old,qixu,yangxu types(＞30 %)in patients between 70-80years old,qixu type(＞30%)was the most common type in over 80 years old,especially qixu type(＞20%) was the common type in every stage of age above.qixu type 43.75%was the most common constitution type in patients with low weight,and the differences of BP and HR were no significant.The level of blood creatinine(Cr) is highest in yuxue type,which had significant difference comparing with the other types(P＜0.05).The relationship between the level of urinary albumin and the type of body constitution had significant difference(P＜0.01).The relationship between the course of the CKD and the type of body constitution had significant difference(P＜0.0001 ).The relationship between the basic diseases of the CKD and the type of body constitution had significant difference(P＜0.01 ).Conclusion qixu,yinxu,yuxue type were the common types in all CKD patients. The constitution features were different inpatients with different gender,age,body mass index,and the viewpoint of physiology and biochemistry,and so on.The prognosis of qixue,yangyu,yuexue constitutions may be not good comparing with the other constitution types,especially the yuexue type was significant.
