| Objectives: We randomly applied three types of treatment to 92 patients with the symptom of dark eye circles. The three categories are 'point pestle needle therapy with eye-circle massage treatment', 'cosmetic treatment on eye circles' and 'contrastive group without treatment', respectively. We observed and compared curative effects of three different treatments. Methods: We selected 92 samples of dark eye circles according to the standard we adopted and divided them into three groups randomly. For the treatment group with 31 cases, we applied the point pestle needle therapy with eye-circle massage treatment. We treated another 31 cases with -cosmetics for comparison. The 30 cases in the other contrastive group did not receive any treatment from us. For each treatment, we set a period of 10 days and three periods in total. We used intelligent testing machine to test the degree of whitening on the skin of eye circles, both before and after the treatments. We recorded personal data objectively and took photographs of eye-circle samples. Through the data and the pictures, we summed up individual curative effect and compared the outcome of each treatment group. Outcomes: After three periods of treatment (which lasted for one month), the effect of the treatment group greatly differed from the two contrastive groups, in the phase of curability, apparentcy, healing rate, inefficiency and rapidity. The performance of the treatment group was apparently better than the other two groups. Conclusion: For female at the age of 18 to 30 with dark eye circles, point pestle needle therapy with eye-circle massage treatment is more effective than cosmetic treatment, and thus more preferable. |
