Objective: To investigate the effection on the urodynamics in bladder filling period by using Niao Changshu capsule to treat the patients with post-menopause urethral syndrome of renal deficiency and blood stasis type. Methods: A total of 36 patients with post-menopause urethral syndrome of renal deficiency and blood stasis type were randomly assigned to two different groups : the trial group(24 patients were treated with Niao Changshu capsule) and the control group (12 patients were treated with Nilestriol) .All patients were treated for 8 weeks. At the end of the treatment, the changes of the urodynamic index in bladder filling period (the capacity of the bladder, the compliance of the bladder and the sensitivity of the bladder) will be compared in each group or between the two groups. All the results will be resolved by Spss 13.0, that p<0.05 seems to have a statistic meaning. Results: There were significant differences both in the trial group and the control group before and after the treatment. (P<0.05) .All patients' urodynamic index, including the maximum cystometric capacity, the volume at the first desire to void, the first sensation, the strong desire and the cystic compliance were evidently improved. Compared with the trial group and the control group, there was no statistic meaning.(P>0.05).Conclusion: The Niao Changshu capsule is effectful to be used to treat the patients with post-menopause urethral syndrome of renal deficiency and blood stasis type in clinical. It could increase the patients' cystic capacity and compliance, step down the patients'sensitivity of the bladder .It almost has the same curative effect as theNilestriol has.
