Methods:The immunohistochemical staining method of Envision was used to evaluate the expression of survivin, PTEN, VEGF in 56 cases of breast cancer and 22 cases of benign breast diseases and its correlations to clinicopathologic features were analyzed . Rusults: Survivin has the higher expression in breast cancer69.6% (39/56) , its expression increases along with the histology graduation increase (P<0.05) , and has nothing to do with age and axillary lymph node metastasis (P>0.05) .VEGF has the higher expression in breast cancer78.6% (44/56) , its expression increases along with the histology graduation increase( P< 0.05).The expression of VEGF rate was higher in the group of axillary lumph node metastasis cases than in the group of the cases without lymph node metastasis ( P< 0.05) .and has nothing to do with age ( P> 0.05) . PTEN has the lower expression in breast cancer46.4% (26/56) , its expression decreases along with the histology graduation decrease (P<0.05) . The expression of PTEN rate was lower in the group of axillary lumph node metastasis cases than in the group of the cases without lymph node metastasis and has nothing to do with age. Survivin, VEGF have the lower expression in the mammary gland benign lesions45.5% ( 10/22 )and36.36 % (8/22), PTEN has the higher expression in the mammary gland benign lesions 86.23% ( 19/22) .Conclusions: The expression of survivin is positive correlated with VEGF and negative correlated with PTEN. Survivin PTEN,VEGF may have the synergism in the carcinogenesie and progress of breast cancer. The survivin should be considered together with PTEN and VEGF for enhancing the accuracy of prognostic evaluation in breast cancer . and Providing the new gene target spot for breast cancer's treatment and prevention. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Breast cancer, Survivin gene, vascular endothelial growth factor, PTEN gene, Immunohistochemistry | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
