| Objective To analyze the nature history of lateral ventriculomegaly in the fetus in utero with the neurological outcome. Methods 48 cases with lateral ventriculomegaly in the fetus after 20 gestention weeks were retrospective analyzed. 40 cases without any abnormal resultion in general ultroulsound eaxmination as contrast group. The nature history of lateral ventriculomegaly in the fetus in utero were observed . Neonatal Behavioral Neurological Assessment\NANB) score was evaluated within 1 weeks after birth. And GESELL develepment was porformed at the 6th month after birth. All the data were possed with SPSS11.5.The value of p<0.05 was considered significant. Reults 1. The gestentional weeks at first ultrousound diagnosed lateral ventriculomegaly were postive correlation with the measurement of lateral ventricule. Diference of degree between isolated lateral ventriculomegaly and complex lateral ventriculomegaly is nonsignificent(p>0.05).2 The prognosis of isolated MV is better than complex MV (p<0.05).3 The diference between 38 neunatals and contrast group is nonsignificant (p>0.05). 2 children were diagnosed cerebral palsy above 6 months ages assessed by GESELL development schedule. Conclusions 1. The gestentional weeks at first ultrousound diagnosed lateral ventriculomegaly were postive correlation with the degree of measurement. 2 The prognosis of the fetus with lateral ventriculomegaly < 12mm is approximately good. 3 Future follow-up in fetus with lateral ventriculomegaly non-completely resovled is necessary. 4 The prognosis of isolated lateral ventriculomegaly is better than complex lateral ventriculomegaly (p<0.05). 5 The diference between simplex MV and cerebral palsy is significant (p<0.05)... |
