Chinese Medicine Through The Period Of Therapy And Clinical Research Of Chinese And Western Medicine Treatment Of Deficiency Ovulation Disorder Infertility

Objective: With analyzing and comparing the clinical affect between treatment of following scheduled time in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) and treatment of integration of Chinese and western medicine(ICWM), which contains comparison in clinical curative effect, traditional Chinese medicine symptom curative effect, rate of urge ovulating, occurrence rate of foreboding abortion after pregnancy and security, to provide deficiency of kidney yang type of Ovulation barrier sterility with clinical study and new train of thought.Method: All the cases were collected from Wu Han City hospital of Chinese medicine during May, 2006 and January, 2008. On the basis of standard of bringing into and eliminating, 101female patients were selected as observation cases, and were divided into 2 groups according to the stochastic principle, group of treatment of following scheduled time in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) and group of treatment of integration of Chinese and western medicine(ICWM), TCM group had 49 cases, ICWM group had 52 cases and each group of patients was monitored in basal body temperature(BBT), periodic variation of cervix of the uterus mucus, the serum level of progestin(P) before the treatment, instance of ovulation after the treatment and so on. By the contrast of two groups, we can reveal the characteristics of the therapies, and build a solid foundation for the further research in the future.Result: (1) The group of TCM contains 49 patients, 30 of them got pregnancy after the treatment, and the rate was 61.22%; while the group of ICWM contains 52 patients, 34 of them got pregnancy after the treatment, and the rate was 65.38%. There was no statistics difference between them. (2) Total clinical curative effect: The group of TCM was 67.35%, the group of ICWM was 75%. There was no statistics difference between them. (3) After the treatment, the symptom integral of two groups descended evidently, but there was no statistics difference between them. (4) Period of treatment in TCM group were 173 periods, 145 of them were ovulating periods, rate of which was 83.32%; period of treatment in ICWM group were 154 periods, 130 of them were ovulating periods, rate of which was 84.42%. There was no statistics difference between the rates. (5) The average ovulating periods of the TCM group were 3.53±1.26, while the ICWM group were 2.96±1.45. There was an evident statistics difference between them. (6) During the treatment, there were 4 cases in mild forms of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome(OHSS) in TCM group, the rate was 8.16%; there were 15 cases in mild forms of OHSS in ICWM group, the rate was 28.85%. There was an evident statistics difference between them. (7) During the treatment, there was no twin in TCM group; while there were 2 cases of twins in ICWM group, the rate was 5.88%. There was no statistics difference between the rates. (8) During the treatment, there was no case of extrauterine pregnancy happened in TCM group; while there was 1 case of extrauterine pregnancy happened in ICWM group. There was no statistics difference between the rates. (9) After the pregnancy, the formation rate of threatened abortion in TCM group was 20%; while in ICWM group was 11.76%. There was no statistics difference between the rates.Conclusion: There was no difference between the two groups in rate of pregnancy, rate of total clinical curative effect, clinical symptom in TCM, Ovulation rate, etc. But, the therapy period of the TCM group was longer than the ICWM group. Observes from the security, formation rate of OHSS in the TCM group was higher than in the ICWM group, while there was no difference in the formation rate of other side effects between them temporarily, more cases needed to be still collected to explicit.
