Many studies have shown that distant dissemination may occur very early in tumor development of breast cancer. The found of circulating tumor cell (CTC) is the important evidence.The sentitivity and specificity of the CTC are improved by the using of FCM and RT-PCR. So the detection of CTC will play an important role in predicting prognosis an assessing therapy of breast cancer patients.
