| Shuxin Jiangzhi (SXJZ) capsule is a pharmaceutics of pure traditional Chinese medicine composed of medical herbs: Allium sativum L, salviae miltiorrhizae, Carthamus tinctorius, Paeonia veitchii Lynch, Ligusticum chuanxiong, crataegi and dalbergiae odoriferae. The main pharmacodynamics experiments of SXJZ capsule were investigated and mechanism of SXJZ capsule on reducing blood-fat, decreasing blood-pressure, anti-myocardial ischemia and anti-thrombogenesis effects were initial researched.The experimental results indicated that SXJZ capsule could remarkably depress total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), low density lipoprotein (LDL) and increase high density lipoprotein (HDL) in hyperlipidemia rats induced by lipid food. SXJZ capsule could decrease Blood Pressure (BP) in hypertensive rats induced by wrapping kidney. SXJZ capsule (2.4 g/kg) could decrease BP in normal rats, but that of middle and low dosage SXJZ capsule is not found. SXJZ capsule could obviously improve the ischemic electrocardiogram T-wave raise induced by Pituitrin (Pit), SXJZ capsule could significantly depress the ST segment drifts and extent of myocardial infarction after coronary artery deligation in rats, could heighten superoxidase (SOD) activity and degrade the malonaldehyde (MDA) activity in serum. SXJZ capsule could obviously degrade death and hemiplegia amounts in thrombus mice induced by collagen and epinephrine. The experiment of maximum dosage in mice indicated that SXJZ capsule had not obviously adverse effect.Summarizing all the experimental results, SXJZ capsule could reduce blood-fat, depress BP, anti-myocardial ischemia and antagonism thrombogenesis effects. |
