| Objective:To investigate the therapeutic efficacy and mechanisms ofβ-sodium aeacine in treating chronic pulmonary heart disease heart failure. Methods:Sixty patients with chronic pulmonary heart disease heart failure were randomly divided into two groups, the control group (n=30) was treated by conventional method; the study group (n=30) was addedβ-sodium aeacine based on conventional treatment, 20 mg ofβ-sodium aeacine was added to 10% glucose solution for intravenous drip, 30 to 40 drops/min, and once a day for 10 days. Results:The significant effective efficiency and total effective efficiency of the study group were separately 56.7 and 90%, which were obviously higher than that of control group (P<0.05) after the corresponding clinic treatment. These indices of puhnonary function (such as FVC, FEV1) could significantly be improved in the study group (P<0.05), but there are no significant changes on those were observed in the control group (P>0.05); although the values of VC (or VC%) were improved in the study group, there are no significant differences in VC (or VC%) between the study group and the control group. The following observations were obtained by the blood gas analysis in the study group: PaO2 and SaO2 increased, PaCO2 reduced; and there also existed a significant difference in these indices between the two research groups after therapy (P<0.05). The facts showsβ-sodium aeacine can better the status of hypoxia. For the hemorheology in the study group, whole blood viscosity, hematocrit, time of erythrocyte electrophoresis and erythrocyte sedimentation rate were found significantly better (P<0.05); however, there is no significant melioration in the hemorheology except hematocrit for the control group. Conclusion: β-sodium aeacine could produce significant effects for treating chronic pulmonary heart disease heart failure with less toxicity, the indices of hemorheology and blood gas analysis in the study group have obviously better. The facts show thatβ-sodium aeacine is thus worthy to be widely applied in clinic treatment. |
