Objective: with the analysis of the statistics of a education ministry immediate university's graduates of 1996-2005, we discussed the situation and impact factors of the graduates, then hope to make a guidance for graduates' employment.Method: with statistic the employment status of medical college graduates and the problems of graduates during occupying a position, we discuss the impact factors of graduates' employment, then analyze the status of the medical undergraduate taking the entrance examination of the master. We set up the database with Foxpro, then analyze the statistics with SPSS for the statistics description and x~2 test.Results: 1. In the past 10 years, the number of graduates in 2004 is largest, with largest proportion of clinical medicine, and most of them are from the middle part of China. 2. The graduates always work at medical related departments in the east part of China. 3. The graduates will return their hometown after graduation. 4. There are decrease of graduates go to the government, increase of graduates go to companies, and the proportion of the students go to hospitals stay the same. 5. There are more females pass the exam of post-graduates, more males become the servants. 6. There are more students pass the exam of post-graduates, go to enterprises, or unemployed after the reform of the graduation. 7. There are more graduates go to the west after the reform of the graduation.Discussion: 1. The proportion of graduates' employment is decreasing. 2. Most of the graduates will find their job in the east of China. 3. There are only half graduates coming from west return their hometown after graduates, most graduates coming from east return their hometown after graduates. 4. The discipline of the college is lagged for the development of the society. 5. The graduates took one or two years to adopt the new policies of the graduation, their employment verified after the reform. 6. the employment status of the graduates in the college also reflect the social situation of the females who have found that it is hard for them to find job.
