Energizer Bone Kennedy Capsule Treatment Of Primary Osteoporosis In Clinical Studies

Intension: To observe the primary osteoporosis treated effect by Jinggujian capsule and discuss the therapy principle.Method: Eight patients suffering primary osteoporosis were chosen and randomdivided into two groups. Therapeutic group including 40 patients was treated by Jinggujian capsule and comparison group including 40 patients was treated by Caltrate With Vitamin D Tables. The clinical symptom of two groups together with biochemical targets of osseous metabolism and changes after the osseous density therapy were compared and studied and were analyzed by statistics method.Result: The clinical effect of therapeutic group is superior to that of comparisongroup evidently. Compared with the sensible effective rate of 0% in clinical therapy for osteoporosis adopted Caltrate With Vitamin D Tables and the total effective rate of 27.3%, the sensible effective rate in clinical therapy for osteoporosis adapted Jinggujian capsule is 14.7% and the total effective rate of that is 73.5%. There is apparent difference between the two experimental groups (P<0.01). The total effective rate of traditional Chinese medicine (TMC) symptom in therapeutic group is 91.2%, which is higher than that in comparison group, 24.2%. There is distinct difference between the two groups (P<0.01). Jinggujian capsule can considerably cut down the ostealgia integration and great differences among and between groups are found (P<0.01). Jinggujian capsule can enhance the patients' standard of osseous density and notable differences before and after the therapy are found (P<0.05). Jinggujian capsule can reduce the standard of acid phosphatase and remarkable differences before and after the therapy are found (P<0.01), furthermore, its effect is superior to Caltrate With Vitamin D Tables (P<0.05). Jinggujian capsule can improve the standard of osseous calcium substance in patients and there is statistics meaning in the comparison before and after the treatment (P<0.05). Moreover, it can improve the standard trend of blood alkali phosphatase, however, it has no statistics meaning. Conclusions: It has true and certain effect in the process of treating primaryosteoporosis when Jinggujian capsule is adopted. Base on the principle of tonifying the kidney and strengthening the spleen and promoting the blood and alleviating pain, therapy applied Jinggujian capsule can improve the clinical symptom and reduce the ostealgia integration. By the principle of improve the standard of osseous alkali substance and reduce the standard of acid phosphatase, it can promote the osseous' formation, reduce the osseous' absorption, improve the osseous' metabolism, enhance the patients' osseous density, it can prevent and cure the osteoporosis. Therefore, it deserves researchers to research and explore intensively.
