Wei Pi(Pi Mang) is one of the common spleen-and-stomach disease that affectingthe digestive system in human. The study is about understanding the development ofpattern and order of its syndromes. In which, it helps definitude its pathogenesis and thedeveloping of rules in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and eventually benefits theclinical treatment and practices in future This study has been under the guidance ofpattern identification, diagnosis and treatment of the Chinese Medicine Theory.Advanced statistics is therefore used to ensure outcome of such clinical research has beenbuilt from a more logical and scientific ground and basis in the study and treatment of theTCM syndromes in Wei Pi(Pi Mang) disease. As a result, such attempt not only guidesthe practice but also improves the level of clinical treatment and its curative effects.This thesis contains both the literature and clinical studies.The literature review hastwo sections. The first one is about the literature and concepts of Chinese Medicine Studyin Wei Pi(Pi Mang) disease. It discusses the naming, its cause of disease and thepathogenesis through study of the classical theory of TCM that provides basis for clinicaltherapy method in future It also discusses the clinical application and therapy methods ofhistorical Chinese Medicine Study. The second one focuses on Modern Study of WeiPi(Pi Mang) disease.of the contemporary development in TCM. The main study is onWei Pi(Pi Mang) disease but it also relates it to disease pertaining to the category ofChronic Atrophic Gastritis(CAG), a type of Chronic Gastritis.It aims to investigate itscause of disease and the pathogenesis, clinical therapy methods through patternidentification and treatment, specialized prescription for special type, the treatment byboth of TCM and the western medicine, and treatment using acupuncture as well.The clinical data of the 100 subjects have been collected, categorized and analyzedfor both the clinical observation and treatment based on different TCM patternidentification of Wei Pi(Pi Mang) disease. An analysis is also made to reveal the inter-relationship between different groups in the TCM pattem identification of Wei Pi(PiMang) disease Factor analysis is used to find the TCM pattern identification of Wei Pi(PiMang) disease. Results show that TCM pattem identification for Wei Pi(Pi Mang)disease, in general, is differentiated and overlapping. It is in line with the pathogenesisthat prone to be complicated and the developing of TCM pattern Sidentification for WeiPi(Pi Mang) disease is basically variable. Through factor analysis(statistics), the resultshows that the 100 subjects who are in the course of Wei Pi(Pi Mang) disease, exist fivepatterns, they are Qi Yin Liang Xu with Qi Zhi Shi Zu, Qi Yin Liang Xu, Gan Yu QiZhi with Shi Zu, Tan Shi.Nie Zu, Si Ji Yu Re with Qi Xu, Wei Yin Bu Zu with ShiZu, Yin Si Ji Zhi, Shi Re Yu Jie.
