This thesis is composed of two sections: document summary and clinical research.1 Document SummaryThere are two parts of this document summary: the ancient and the modern.The ancient document summary is some contents of treatment of menstruation diseases from the famous books on acupuncture. On the basis of laws of the acupoint choice, we can find out how to treat one disease with the special acupoints and we can discover how many diseases every acupoint can be used to treat. At the same time we can figured out all the acupoints of every meridian and the acupoints of every locations of the body. Then we can use these results in clinical treatment.The modern document summary is the collections of materials of treatment of menstruation diseases with acupuncture in the past decades. The methods of treatment of menstruation diseases are acupuncture, moxibustion, auricular plaster therapy, warm acupuncture, electrical acupuncture, point-injection therapy and comprehensive therapy composed of these methods. Every research has the special theory and choice of acupoints and can be of help in clinical treatment.2 Clinical ResearchI summarize the theory and the traits of choice of the acupoint in clinical treatment of menstruation diseases with acupuncture. I state the treatment periods of menstruation diseases, the characteristics of choice of head acupoints, the application of special abdominal acupoints apart from the meridian, the application of a series of acupoints, the application of the Belt Meridian acupoint as well as the application of the acupoints on the inner sides of legs. At last, I introduce two cases of treatment of menstruation diseases with acupuncture. One case is amenorrhea. After the treatment, the patient has the regular menstruation up to now. In the other case, the patient had the too long menstruation time and the blood much more than the formal at the end of the period. After the treatment, the irregular menstruation cycle were shortened and the blood return to normal level.
