Yangyinqingfei Circulation Treatment Of Yin Cough Clinical Studies

Objective: Clinical observation for Yin deficiency of Lung treated by nourishing Yin toeliminate pulmonary heat and to remove blood stasis。Methods: 60 patients were divided into two groups (30 cases each) randomly。Thetreatment group was treated with Yang Yin Qing Fei Tang and Radix Paeoniae Rubra,Semen Persicae。The control group treated with Yang Yin Qing Fei Tang。Themedication was applied tree times daily。The duration of treatment was 16 days。Results: In the treatment group, 5 cases recovered, the effectual rate is 16.7％, 16 casessignificantly improved, 7 cases improved, 2 ineffectual cases。The total effective rateof treatment group is 93.3％。In the control group, 3 eases recovered, the effectual rateis 10.0％, 6 cases significantly improved, 16 cases improved, 5 cases ineffectual。Thetotal effective rate in the control group is 83.3％。The scores from the treatment groupclearly decreased at the end of two weeks and four weeks respectively (23.00±5.146pretreatment vs 15.53±5.104, 7.20±5.720)。After 16 days treatment, the symptoms ofcough, phlegm with blood, and the symptoms of dry mouth have eased significantly(P＜0.05), hectic fever and night sweat, palmer heat, hot sensation of dorsum of foot,sensory confusion, shortness of breath, thirst have not improved significantly (P＞0.05)。Conclusion: According to the scholars, patients of Yin deficiency have the symptom ofblood stasis, thus, to apply drugs to activate blood flow is rational。The theory andclinical research also indicate that replenishing Yin and promoting blood circulation areeffective to cough due to Yin deficiency。...
