Lipid Hepatoprotective Capsule And Its Mechanism Of Prevention And Treatment Of Fatty Liver

Many diseases and different pathogeny lead to the liver fatty degeneration, which is called fatty liver(FL). With the improvement of people's living standard and the variation of the diet, the rate of fatty liver is rising and which is threatening people's health. It is discovered lately that fatty liver and hepatic fibrosis appear one after the other in all kinds of nosogenesis. It shows that fatty liver is prophase pathological changes of hepatic fibrosis, and which leads to hepatic cirrhosis in the end. So it is important to prevent and cure FL in case of the development of fatty hepatic diseases.In the study, three types of fatty liver models of rats were set up by compound factors,feeding high fat diet and carbon tetracholoride(CCl₄). In addition, acute hepatic injury models of mice were made by CCl₄ and D-galactosamine(D-GalN). And, acute blood stasis model of rats was set up by injecting adrenalin and dunking in icy water. After the treatment of Tiaozhi Baogan Capcule (TBC), the general physical state, liver index(the radio of liver weight with body weight), hepatic pathological changes, blood biochemical indices, hemorheological paramerters were observed in animal models so as to investigate the preventive and therapeutic effects of TBC on fatty liver and explore its therapeutic mechanism. The Results showed as follows: TBC could obviously ameliorate hepatic pathological changes in model rats, relieve hepatic steatosis and hepatocellular necrosis, decrease the content of malondialdehyde(MDA) and increase the vitality of superoxide dismustase (SOD) in serum and liver, lower the content of triglyceride(TG),total cholesterol(TC), low-density lipoprotein(LDL), and increase the content of high-density lipoprotein(HDL) in serum, and decrease the liver index significantly. Besides, it had an obvious effect on lowing the vitality of alanine transaminase(ALT),aspartate aminotransferase(AST) in serum of acute hepatic injury models of mice, and reducing the whole blood viscosity (η_b) ,whole blood reduction viscosity ( η_rv), aggregation index (AI) in hemorheology of acute blood stasis model of rats.According to the results, it is concluded that TBC is effective in preventing and treating fatty liver. Promoting the clearance of free radicals and the ability of antioxidation to regulate and improve the metabolic balance of free radicals may be its main therapeutic mechanism.
