| Leptopus Chinese (Bunge) Pojark , a herb of Euphorbiaceous, is widely distributed in China, namely Jilin, Liaoning, Hebei, Shanxi, Henan, Shandong, Jiangsu, Shanxi, Sichuan, Yunnan, Hubei and Hunan. Its branches and leaves have long been known as an herbal medicine by local people to treat several kinds of disease, such as abdominal pain, malnutrition due to parasitic infestation and even paralysis. In Yuzhou city of Henan province it was used to treat cancer. Initial pharmacological experiments showed a degree of inhibition to the growth of cancer cells. Its chemical components of this oriental medicine were studied here, at the same time, the process of extraction and isolation and the analysize of the main components to the plant is also improved.1. Extraction and isolation of chemical constituents from Leptopus Chinese (Bunge) PojarkThe alcoholic extraction of this oriental medicine was respectively extracted and eluted from silica gel column chromatography by petroleum ether, chloroform, ethyl ether, acetic ester, acetone and methanol. The portion of ethyl ether was concentrated in vacuum, then it was separated by silica gel column chromatography using CHCl3:EtOAc:MeOH as solvent to yield nine compounds. They are: Friedelane-2α , 3β-diols(1) , Ursolic acid (2) , Betulinic acid (3) , 3β-O-trans-coumaroylbetulinic acid (4) , Betulin ( 5 ) , 3β , 22α , 24-trihydroxyl-urs-12-en(6), Triacontanol (7), β-sitosterol (8) and Stigmasterol(9). From the portion of acetone, we used EtOAc:MeOH as the solvent to eluted the silica gel column chromatography , and yield two compounds, they are: Triethylamine chloride (10) and Sucrose (11) .These compounds were analyzed by IR, MS, NMR, and all of them were firstly isolated from Leptopus Chinese (Bunge) Pojark except compound 1, compound 7 and compound 11. And at the same... |
