The formula includes Ephedra sinica,white mustard seed and so on. These herbs are heat and dynamic in quality and have the effects of warming the meridians and expelling cold. The formula reflects the principle of warming and expelling cold which is popular used in treating asthma with external. The MJ has already been demonstrated to have profound effects in controlling and preventing asthma attack.The study attaches great importance on demonstrating the therapeutic effects of MJ on asthma and elucidating the mechanisms underlying the effects by experiments.
