OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effect and mechanism of Huangbankang granule on pathologically changed C57BL mouse lens tissue structure with experimental dyslipidemia.METHODS: The three-month-old C57BL mice were fed one week then randomly divided into three groups: three-month-old normal feed group(twelve mice) one week later kill, eight-month-old normal feed group(twelve mice) five months later kill and eight-month-old dyslipidemia model group(forty eight mice) fed with fat dietary for five mouths and then randomly selected twelve mice to execute.All the mice's total cholesterol (TC), low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), hemorheology, malondialdehyde(MDA) index and lens tissue structure were measured. The dyslipidemia model confirmed be established then the remained eight-month-old dyslipidemia model group were randomly divided into negative control group, positive medicine control group and Huangbankang treated group.Each group had twelve mice fed with normal feed for one month then all the mice were executed and the serum lipid, hemorheology, MDA index were assaied.To extirpate all the mice's lens to make optical microscope and electronical microscope specimens to observe the lens tissue structure. To analyse conclusion statistically according to the result of SPSS software .RESULTS:TC> LDL-C> Hemorheology: The index of the eight-month-old dyslipidemia model group is higher than that of the eight-month-old normal feed group and the three-month-old normal feed group.P0.05,the index of the huangbankang treated group is significantly lower than that of the positive medicine control group P<0.01.MalondialdehyderThe MDA level of the dyslipidemia model group is statistically higher than that of the eight-month-old normal feed group and the three-month-old normal feed group/3 <0.007,the index of the Hangbankang treated group and the positive medicine control group is obviously decreased compared with the negative control groupP<0.0i, the index of Hangbankang treated group is statistically lower than that of the positive medicine control group P<0.01.Lens capsule thicknessrThe index of the dyslipidemia model group is larger than that of the eight-month-old normal feed group and the three-month-old normal feed groupP<0.07,the index of the Huangbankang treated group and the positive medicine control group is apparently decreased compared with the negative control group P<0.01,but the capsule thickness of the last two groups has no statistic significance.CONCLUSION: The experiment successfully established the...
