Objective Observe the expression of IL-18 of rabbit eyes in vitreous and serums of proliferative vitreo-retinopathy(PVR), evaluate the relationship between them.Methods Select 36 healthy New Zealand albino rabbits with weight about 2~2.5kg and age two months,they were divided into two groups, the right eyes served as experimental group which received an intravitreal injection of platelet rich plasma and the left eyes were regarded as normal group received an intravitreal injection of saline solution. Each group was divided into 6 small groups according to experimental time, 1d, 3d,5d, 7d, 14 d and 21d.All the animals' fundus were observed everyday postoperative, at each selected time point after surgery, animals were examined by F-ERG, ocular ultrasonic, the level of IL-18 in vitreous and venous blood were detected by ELISA method, eye balls were analysed by pathological examination, all statistical figures were manipulated by SAS9.0 system.Result (1)The IL-18 in serum PVR model established was rised at 3d and 5d,there was no difference between before and after the model in the other times.(2)If the time factor was constantly,IL-18 in vitreous reached to its peak at third to fifth day and then downed to normal within a few days.(3)The level of IL-18 has significant difference between experimental eyes and compared in each group.(4)The level of IL-18 in serum has relativity with the level of IL-18 in vitreous.Conclusion metamorphic-immune reaction maybe the key link in the occurrence of PVR; The determine in serum can become the useful chemical supervisor, in order to estimate the state of an illness; IL-18 takes active part in... |
