Astragalus Injection In The Prevention Of The Comparative Study Of The Elderly Of Phn

Objective To observe the curative effect of which milkvetch root treat herpes zoster and cut down the occurrence probality of PHN. Methods Selected 98 patients of herpes zoster which consistent with experimental standard, then divided into control group and observational group, gave control group conventional therapy, while added milkvetch root injection 20ml to 10% GLU injection 250ml except for conventional therapy for observational group. The two courses of treatment were all 7 days, then recorded time of blain disappearance, time of pain softened, time of pain relieved and the incidence rate of PHN. Result There was significant difference between two groups( p< 0.01 ). Conclusion it suggests that milkvetch root can mitigate the ache of acute stage of herpes zoster ,can also inhibit the incidence of PHN.
