Civil Several Special Pulse Method

"Sphygmology" is one of the most characteristic theories ofTraditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). It's the long-term individualclinical practice which was ccumulated by many doctors in severalthousands of years. Even though today's "cun pulse-taking singly " and" three fingers pulse-taking" were developed from the ancientdiagnostic method on all-over body. However, "feeling the pulse" nearlybecomes the label of iagnosis of TCM. And it has graven directive effectand important meaning in the treatment based on syndrome differentiationof TCM. Along with the discovery of Ma WangDui's medicial books, we know theancient doctors diagnosed disease by using sphygmology long before.Moreover, with the long-term medical practice of pulse-taking, theydiscovered some special pulse quality and understood the significancesof them. In spite of some special ancient pulse-taking principles inheritedfrom the civilian, such as "Zhejiang·silk sphygmology" and"Kunlun·Tianyuan sphygmology" have unique diagnostic methods, butrare people know them. This study was approached by using bibliography method and oralhistoriography method. First of all, it was distinguished two sides,research overview of pulse-taking and special pulse—holographic methodof diagnosis. But its emphasis was on the part of special pulse. Dependingon origin, principle, pulse-taking method, icon, clinical experience,doctor's descriptive order, I determined and summed up the clinical applyof Holographic Rule of Pulse and Jiugong Pulse on the two pulse groups.And then it was compared and analyzed, collected, put in order to evidenceand enrich the result of this philological research. Another diagnose and treatment method of which be possessed specialfeature be expected in uncovering on diagnostics and enriching theacademic connotation of TCM.
