The fingerprint of natural medicament is important measure of natural productionquality token. The fingerprint chromatogram of traditional Chinese medicine isgradually applied to the identification and quality valuation of traditional Chinesemedicine. Fingerprint of traditional Chinese medicine reflect completely quantityand species of inherence chemistry components in traditional Chinese medicine. Thearticle studies an identifying model of GC fingerprint for the overall qualitycontrol of traditional Chinese medicine. A GC method is used to establish the standard fingerprint as well as medicinalmaterials sample fingerprint first, establish the standard fingerprint ofXingnaojing injection and transfusion. The research issue fixups the producing areaof raw medicinal materials and preparation technics. The article establishes thecharacterisitic fingerprint of volatile oil of Curcuma and Gardenia. The maincomponents of samples are identified by GC-MS. The method is simple and reliable.Musk is one of the rare traditional Chinese medicinal materials and is usuallysophisticated with different adulterants. Some new adulterants have been detected.Borneolum has been wildly used in clinical, but the current quantitative analysismethod cannot satisfy the command of quality control of borneolum. A gaschromatographic method is established for the all-round quality control of borneolum.The results show that this method is can be used in quality control of borneolum. Solid-phase microextraction is a new technique of analysis. It has many meritsand expanse foreground. The article is a review of the principle, recent developmentand application of solid-phase microextraction, mainly focusing on natural productanalysis, especially on Chinese traditional medicine. Through experiment proving,solid-phase microextraction technique is good to analysis volatile oil of Chinesetraditional medicine. The article is described a solid-phase microextraction gaschromatography procedure for the determination of Cyclopentadecanone, 4-methyl- inXing NaoJing Injection. The condition of SPME: The sample of 1ml was heated at 80℃ for 10 min and the fiber of PDMS (100μm) was exposed to the sample for 30min.The fiber was desorbed for 0.1min in the hot injector of 250℃. Compared with steamdistillation, the method was proved to be fast and accurate. It is activesignificance to popularize and apply to the fingerprint of traditional Chinesemedicine. It is the first time of using solid-phase microextraction technique toquantify the component of traditional Chinese medicine.
