The acute toxicity of PDA product with different cationicity, and AM, DM, PAM, PDM that as residual monomers or side products exist in PDA was studied. The results indicated that the MTD of 10% cationicity PDA on mouse oral and dermal within 2weeks were 2000mg/kg and 3000mg/kg; the LD50 of 30% cationicity PDA on mouse oral within 2weeks was 1190mg/kg, the MTD of 30% cationicity PDA on mouse dermal within 2weeks was 3000 mg/kg. The LC50 of 10%, 30% cationicity PDA on golden carp within 24 and 96hours were 246mg/L, 17mg/L and 167mg/L, 18mg/L; The LC50 of 10%, 30% cationicity PDA on crucian within 24 and 96hours were 98mg/L, 14.9mg/L and 57mg/L, 5.4mg/L. The result indicated that PDA can be regarded as a kind of non-toxic, potential industrially, top-performance and new cationic macromolecule flocculant. |
