This thesis on coronary heart disease (CHD) consists of both the part ofconcerned discourses and the part of exposition of the clinical research. There are three discourses introduced in the first part. The Traditional ChineseMedicine (TCM) typing of CHD and the correlation between the TCM typing and themodern clinical means as well as new diadynamic criteria is discussed in the firstdiscourse. The discourse also explains that the modern medicine technologicaldevelopments provide objective evidence for the objective and quantitative analysis ofthe TCM typing of CHD. The second discourse introdues the research overviewabout the somatic substances in traditional Chinese medicine, which also contains theoverview of the modern study development and common grouping of the SomaticSubstances. The investigation of CHD's common somatotypes is also disscuseed in thesecond discourse. The third discourse summerizes the methods which are frequentlyused in clinical diagnosis for CHD over the last few years and explains the value ofthese clinical methods, especially the myocardium nuclide perfusion scan and coronaryarteriongraphy(CAG) ,and the latter is generally accepted as the gold standard todiagnose the CHD because of its exact direct-viewing and dependable feature. But theCAG also has its own restriction, therefore many kinds of examining index should berefered in clinical diagnosis of CHD in order to use the economical means to achivethe purpose of correct diagnosis. In the part of clinical research we investigate the TCM typing of CHD and suchobjective examination result as lipoprotein and CAG which have some relativity withthe TCM typing of CHD .We collect 60 patients in hospital whose diagnoses areconsistent with strict diagnostic criteria of CHD (i.e diagnosed as a CHD on the basisof the result of CAG or having the case history of myocardial infarction (MI).).Theyare divided into nine clinical common types of syndrome according to the coatedtongue and pulse tracings and clinical manifestation. The statistical analysis shows thatthe common patterns of syndrome are the syndrome of deficiency of vital energy andblood stasis and sputum internal resistance and the syndrome of sputum internalresistance and the syndrome of deficiency of vital energy and blood stasis.Thedamaged degee of coronary arery in the group with sputum are all severer than thegroup not with sputum, which has gained statistic significance (p>0.05). Through theanalysis of the type of syndrome between the group of having MI medical record andthe group of not having such record,we find the former group consists of the syndromeof deficiency of vital energy and blood stasis and the type of deficiency of both QIand YIN ,while the latter group consists of the syndrome of deficiency of vital energyand blood stasis and sputum internal resistance and the syndrome of sputum internal英文摘要 5resistance .The study of the somatotypes of these patients shows that the stagnantblood preg.and deficiency of vital energy prey.and the phlegmatic hygrosis prey. arethe main somatotypes of the 60 patients. It is also found that each somatotypes hasclose relativity with symptoms and signs.Furthermore, there is clear-cut relation withphlegmatic hygrosis prey. and hyperlipemia, which illustrates that a patient withphlegmatic hygrosis prey.usually has hyperlipemia. In a word, the study shows thatthere is some correlation between the TCM typing of CHD and objective examinationsuch as CAG.
