Shenque Acupoint Moxibustion On Serum Of Rats With Experimental Diarrhea Of Spleen Deficiency Effects Of D - Xylose Content And SDH Activity

Objective: The past research proved that the diarrhea patients due to hypofunction of the spleen who acquired moxibustion and acupuncture therapy, their medical symptoms were improved abviously, the bodies' immunity, serum D-Xylose volume and many ferments'activity were heightened. The experiment mainly by means of survey and determine the rats' serum D-Xylose volume and SDH activity to further explore the effect systems of serum D- Xylose volume and SDH activity of diarrhea rats due to hypofunction of the spleen, to provide experimental basis to spur clinical use of acupuncture and moxibustion.Methods:The Wister rats were randomly divided into four groups i. e. normal control group, comparison group, moxibustion group and moxibusion plus acupuncture group, 10 rats each. Adopted 10% Senna drug in water , according to quantity of 20 ml/kg, 2 times per day to filled the rats' stomachs 15 days successively, up to models of diarrhea rats due to hypofunction of the spleen have been made. Then adopted two means of therapy which are 'Shenque' acupoint acquired moxibustion and 'Shenque' acupoint acquired moxibustion united 'Zusanli' acupoint acquired acupuncture, observed these effects on the rats', which including general condition, weight, appetite, ratio of excretion by tail pulling and resistance of suspended in midair by tail pulling, then used measurement box to measure the serum D-Xylose volume and SDH activity after the models have been made and after therapy separaately. All data collected were anlyzed statistical analysis software.Results:Model rats' (before therapy) weight and appetite are decreased, ratio of excretion by tail pulling is increased, resistance of suspended in midair by tail pulling is decreased, Serum D-Xylose volume and SDH activity are decreased. While after therapy of moxibustion and acupuncture, weight and appetite are increased, ratio of excretion by pulling is decreased, resistance of suspended in midair by tail pulling is increased, Serum D-Xylose volume and SDH activity curative effect of moxibustion plus accupuncture groupis better than moxibustion group's.Conclusion: Serum D-Xylose volume and SDH activity of diarrhea rats due to hypofunction of the spleen are decreased, after therapy of moxibustion and acupuncture, Serum D-Xyclose volume and SDH activity are increased, among them, moxibustion plus acupuncture group increased obviously.
