Experimental Study Of Chinese Medicine Xiaozheng Injection Of Local Treatment Of Endometriosis Cysts

Objective:To set up a new therapeutic method to ovarian endometrioma (EMA) , that is to inject locally the medicine "Xiao Zheng Injection" which is extracted from Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) after inspirition of chocalate cyst of ovary, and to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of this treatment. Method:Make experimental EMA rat model by surgical implantation. All rats were randomly divided into four groups: the nomal group, the EMA modal group, the alcohol contral group and the Xiao Zheng Injection group. At the end of the experiment, we examined the following physiological index of rats in all groups: estradiol (?), progesterone (P), and ann'endometrium antibody (EMAb) in serum, and observed the mophological change of eutopic/ectopic endometrium,ovary, kidney, brain, heart,and lung under optical and electric microscope. Results:1. The content of EMAb in serum:No EMAb is found in the nomal group. The positive rat of EMAb in Xiao Zheng Injection group and alcohol group are both lower than that in the experimental group.2. The level of ? in serum:The level of ? in the experimental contral group is evidently raised up compared with that in the nomal group, but in the Xiao Zheng Injection group and alcohol group, it trends to nomal.3. The level of P in serum:The level of P in the experimental group is obviously higher than that in nomal group, but in the Xiao Zheng Injection group and alcohol group it trends to nomal.4. Morphological observation of EMA tissues:In the Xiao Zheng Injection group, the experimental endometrioma is clearly reduced after local injection, ang there is no significant change in eutopic endometrium andother organs. Conclusion:Local treatment with Xiao Zheng Injection which is extracted from TCM is a effective and safe therapeutic method to the experimental EMA.
