Study On The Mechanism Of Acupuncture On The Hypothalamic Thirst Pivotal Role In Experimental Type 2 Diabetic Rats

Acording to human being's causes of 2 type diabetes mellitus, we made 2 type diabetes mellitus rats model whose symptoms and pathogeny were similar to man.The finally-successful rate of making the rats model was 61 .40%.We observed the indices of past blood glucose, insulin ,c-peptide ,the ultramicrostructure of pancreas B cell and liver cell ,spontaneous electric frequency and monoaminergic neurotransmitter content of hypothalamus thirst center of nerve nucleus, amount of dextrose transport of fat cell The result show that the decrease in 2hBG, 2hC-P,spontaneous electric frequency, the increase in amount of dextrose transport of fat cell and amelioration of ultraniicrostructure occur after the treatment of acupuncture. The correlated analysis show that there are both remarkably positive correlation between spontaneous electric frequency of thirst center and the level of INS,C-P etc. and that the remarkably negative correlation between the amount of dextrose transport of fat cell. It suggests that the adjust the spontaneous electric frequency of thirst center in hypothalamus is one of essential reasons of treatment the 2 type DM with acupuncture therapy.
