Electronic-nose is a kind of chemical analysis instrument, it is composed of an electronic chemical sensor array that has partly specificity and a proper pattern recognition system. it can not only be applied to recognize single or multiple gas but also be applied to recognize onepack gas I steam or other mixture. Objective need, present situation of sensor technique and people span of apprehension to olfaction process decide come into being and development of electronic-nose. After gas information been obtained from olfaction sensor array and information preprocessing and feature extraction, the process to this information is the other one primary content. Firstly, this paper introduce the notion and development of electronic-nose, the structure and development suivey of artificial olfaction, the importance and development survey of electronic-nose signal process, some classical application example and history of electronic-nose. - The second chapter narrates mostly oscillation principle of quartz crystal, oscillation circuit, the sensitive mechanism of QCM (quartz aystal microbalance) and the step and result of spin coating. The third chapter introduces mostly the design of sensor measurement system, including mixing frequency circuit and the program method of the interface of diversified instrument and microcomputer [EEE-488. The fourth chapter introduces mostly ICA (Independent component analysis) algorithm, include its background, principle and method. The last, in the case of temperature and humidity noise, we apply ICA algorithm to obtain acetone independent component signal, and compare this result to the result obtained by PCk...
