Objective f to study the effect and the mechanism of combined use of westernand Chinese medicine on involution melancholic. Method: 60 female Patients whosatisfied the CCMD-II criteria and the differentiation criteria of combination ofWestern and Chinese medicine (Kun Ming,199l) were randomly divided into 2groups. 30 patients received both low dose of Western medicine and Chinesemedicine.
