Method: Observing antiviral drugs, chuanhunin and ribavirini, i~ibiting the apoptosis induced by influenza virus A3 through calculating percentage of apoptosis cells by flow cytometry and observing morphological changes of apoptotic cells. Results:1.The morphological changes of Madin-Darby canine kidney cells(MDCK) infected with influenza virus A3 was observed under the light microscope. It was seen the infected cells with characteristic morphological changes of apoptosis, such as extensive condensation of chromatin into dense masses, concentration of cytoplasm and cytoplasm vacuolization. 2.The effects of antiviral drugs on the apoptosis of the infected cells were analyzed. The results were shown as: l)The percentage of apoptotic MDCK in the virus infected group was significantly higher than the non-infected group(PO.05); 3)It was observed that both antiviral drugs, chuanhuning and ribavirini could significantly inhibit induced by influenza virus A3(P
