Hip Debridement Treatment Of Acetabular Labrum Injury

Purpose:To evaluate the use of hip arthroscopy in treatment of acetabular labral injury. Material and method:From August 2008 to October 2010,60 patients were treated for acetabular labral injury . Among these patients , 36 were male and 24were female ,with an average age of 45 years ( range,27 to 61 years ). 32 cases of left and right in 28 cases. Including sports injury in 40 cases, 12 cases of acetabular dysplasia and hip osteoarthritis in 8 cases. Hip flexion or a particular posture made the hip pain. All 60 patients underwent arthroscopic probe and acetabular labral injury was ensured, and use Rf gasification to clean hyperplasia of the synovial organization and damage hypertrophic the cartilage wound,remove the corpus liberum within the joint, excision and repair tissue damage in the labrum.Results:Follow up all 60 cases, average 12.5 months (6 months to 18 months), all the patients after the operation returned to normal hip joint activity, pain symptoms disappeared in51 cases, obviously improved 9 cases, There was no complication in this series,such as vessels,nerve damage and skin necrosis.Conclusion:Hip arthroscopy for acetabular labrum injury has important diagnostic and therapeutic value, hip arthroscopic acetabular labrum repair surgery has the benefits of good Surgery curative effect, earlier rehabilitation,and fewer complications.
