From The Perspective Of Optimizing Spatial Structure To Discuss Sustainable Urban Development

Because of historical and factitious factors, in Qingdao unreasonable spatial structure made the industrial structure out of line, aggravated environmental pollution and recourses shortage, and has blocked its sustainable development in some degree. This paper applies statistic and investigating methods, coupled with using model reference and drawing pictures in order to expound the intrinsic relationship between optimizing urban spatial structure and urban sustainable development firstly. Then based on introducing the condition of Qingdao economic development and its general spatial situation, brings forward some policies and suggestions of optimizing urban spatial structure. They are the following: set down spatial planning according to the direction of Qingdao development and its function orientation; perfect and harmonize function zone of Qingdao; strengthen the construction of high and new technology industrial development zone; use Dalian's practices of optimizing spatial structure as reference to find out some valuable experiences. Then the paper shows that the opportunities and challenges of cites in our countries especially for Qingdao. Facing these, we expect the following ten years' spatial structure of Qingdao, and make a optimistic foreground of its sustainable development.In the last the paper makes a generalization and conclusion of the principle of optimizing urban spatial structure, which is to emphasize adjustment of industry structure, using land rationally, environmental protection etc. we make conclusion of the paper as the following: optimizing urban spatial structure can promote urban sustainable development, and cities with different scales and positions have different optimizing measurements. It is necessary to make out long-term urban spatial planning to create conditions for accelerating urban sustainable development.
